Terms of Service

1. Service description

InkFlow is a workspace for running service and appointment-based businesses. It provides calendar and scheduling, client records, forms and consent management, staff and team administration, session tracking, client messaging, aftercare communication, and inventory and supplies tracking.

InkFlow is not industry-specific. While it is commonly used by tattoo and piercing studios, the platform works for any appointment-based service business.

2. Account eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to create an InkFlow account.

TODO: minimum age requirement not yet decided (this may vary by jurisdiction).

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. If you create a Studio account and invite team members, you are responsible for the actions taken by those team members under your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Plans and pricing are described on the Pricing page.

TODO: the exact billing and payment provider and mechanics are not finalized. Self-service payment is not yet available. This section will be updated once billing is implemented — do not assume any specific payment processor or checkout flow is live.

5. Trials

InkFlow may offer a trial period for new accounts. TODO: the exact trial length and terms have not yet been decided.

6. Cancellation

7. Acceptable use

  • You may not use InkFlow for any illegal purpose.
  • You may not abuse or misuse other users' data.
  • You may not attempt to circumvent InkFlow's security measures.

8. Data ownership

You retain ownership of your business data — including client records, forms, and other content — that you enter into InkFlow. InkFlow acts as a processor of that data on your behalf. See the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for more detail.

9. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep InkFlow available, but we do not currently guarantee any specific uptime commitment. TODO: a formal SLA has not yet been decided.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, InkFlow's liability for claims arising from your use of the service will be limited. TODO: the exact liability caps, exclusions, and carve-outs have not yet been decided and require legal review before this document can be finalized.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms. How your data is handled on termination is described in the Data Processing Agreement's deletion and return of data section.

12. Governing law
